The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in honor of the professional holiday and in recognition of merits in the field of glaciological science, awarded the leading scientists of the Central Asian Regional Glaciological Center under the auspices of UNESCO with medals, diplomas and letters of thanks.

The awards were presented on behalf of the Minister Sayasat Nurbek by the Director of the Glaciological Center,  Professor T.O. Balykbaev.

For a long fruitful labor activity, the following scientists of the Central Asian Regional Glaciological Center under the auspices of UNESCO were awarded: Pimankina Nina Valeryevna with the medal "For Contribution to the Development of Science" and Yeriskovskaya Lyudmila Andreevna with the medal " Еңбек ардагері ".

Certificates of honor were awarded to Egorov Alexander Borisovich, Blagoveshchenskaya Olga Viktorovna, Skiba Vladimir Viktorovich. Irina Aleksandrovna Dikikh and Yury Aleksandrovich Rebrov received letters of thanks.

High awards are recognition of creative success and personal contribution of each of the employees to the scientific activity of Kazakhstan. We wish all the awarded persons good health, further professional growth, conquering not only mountain, but also scientific peaks!
